San Joaquin Refining manufactures hydrotreated ultra low sulfur (ULS) CARB #2 diesel fuel that meets all California Air Resource Board specifications including, but not limited to the requirement that all diesel fuel must contain less than 15 ppm sulfur. SJR diesel fuel is set apart from other refiner’s diesel fuel largely due to the hydrotreating process that it goes through.
This process gives SJR’s diesel fuel a much better cloud point and pour point versus a typical diesel fuel that would be produced in a more standard refining process. SJR ULS CARB #2 diesel fuel has a pour point of -75 degrees F which produces a more cohesive component for blending with biofuels that tend to have a higher and more problematic pour point. SJR also offers Red Dyed ULS CARB #2 for any non-road diesel fuel consumption. |
